summary : Campo di Sasso - a project of the family Antinori . Is an expressive and juicy wine from four international grape varieties, which exhibit a very chaotic, but incredibly interesting. Excellent price / quality ratio.
c orta: 35% Syrah, Cabernet Franc 30%, 30% Merlot, Petit Verdot 5%.
14.5% alc.
eye: saturated ruby color with purple highlights.
nose: bright, even a little explosive and voluminous aroma, mixed characteristics All four varieties: black pepper, leather, black currants, a little licorice, herbs, vanilla and black olives.
mouth: balanced surround taste. Enough soft tannins. A long and vibrant finish, which is dominated by cherry, prune, manifested mild vegetable note and black pepper. At the very end appear sweetish nuances candied black cherry.
food tips: applied to the pasta with a sauce of wild boar.
