summary: elegant , balanced chianti from legendary Barone Ricasoli. This pattern, in contrast to more recent vintages, yet contains no merlot, so there is very little fruit music and much more spice and tobacco notes and tones skin. Exposure - 18 months in 2 / 3 new oak. Drink now.

c orta: sangiovese, cabernet sauvignon
13.5% alc.

eye: rich dark cherry color.
nose: powerful, complex flavor. The first nose - undergrowth and leather on the background light fruit nuance. Then there are rich and spicy notes of tobacco, menthol and elegant vanilla.

mouth: balanced, complex, delicate taste. Soft tannins. A long and vibrant finish: first, black cherry, black pepper and then the skin tone. In the end there is a very interesting note of ripe red apple (in flavor, by the way, too, but it is more vivid on the palate).
